Hello. I am looking to buy an inexpensive tablet for general browsing, some apps and Miracast streaming. There are not many options in India, so I am thinking of buying the HP Omni 10. I have a few questions
1. It runs 32-bit Windows. Can it run 64-bit windows? Is there a point with only 2Gb RAM?
2. The internal storage is only 32 Gb. Is the tablet actually usable with this? I heard Windows 8.1 introduced WIM boot which allows you to boot from a compressed WIM image. Is this possible on this tablet?
3. The official page says the tablet supports only SD cards up to 32 Gb. Is this accurate? I would want to add a 128Gb card to store all my stuff. I know the limit is not with the OS.
4. Can Windows store apps be installed to the SD card (using a registry hack maybe)? I would like to use Here maps with offline map data
