Hi,

I'm planning on getting two windows 8 tablets, hopefully Surface RT (mainly for the kids) and Surface Pro (for me ;) ) however I suddenly had a thought about them...If I log into my surface pro with my windows live account and install various "UI formally known as metro" apps and then later log into my surface RT with the same windows live account, will I have access to the same installed apps?

Also if I install apps using one windows live account will another user have access to those apps or will they have to pay for them again? I.e if I install a game on my surface RT device using my account will I have to pay for it again for my kids to use it using their own accounts?

Ill still be getting the tablets etiher way, I just wondered how the apps work across multiple devices/users...

If WP7 is any indication of how WP/W8 will work, your app purchases will be available across multiple (limited) devices. But no family or sharing Microsoft IDs yet, so the kids would be on their own in terms of app purchases.

Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express Pro

I really hope they bring in some way to share apps throughout a family, I really dont fancy paying for apps more than once!
