I reset my 920 (AT&T, GDR2) and as soon as it finished updating the Nokia apps it stopped playing music in stereo, it's only coming out of the right channel. It worked fine right after the reset, but after it finished the updating it went bad, which makes me think that the audio settings...

Alas, no improvement for me. I hope they follow the Win8 Xbox Music update with a WP8 one.

Ouch! But if you can disable videos, I guess it'd be worth buying.

Tangentially related: Does anyone know how much data the game uses while being played? It looks interesting, but I'm severely limited on both my phone's plan and my home's WiFi and don't want to waste my data allowance on a game.

I just bought the game, I'm a couple levels in and its very good so far. Pretty good graphics, very smooth, easy to get the hang of, and interesting without being overly complicated. Definitely worth the price, IMO.

Yeah, but its emblematic of a larger problem. If it was just Temple Run, I'd agree, it'd be annoying but not a serious impediment to the platform. But it's not just "one silly game," it's dozens. There's so many games/apps that WP is missing, it's a bigger surprise when a big-name title is...

This very same thing just happened to me, and the power+volume button brought it back to life. Very peculiar. I'm already planning on replacing the phone because the proximity sensor died, but still, not especially promising.

The wait time between when Apple announces a device and when it goes on sale is measured in weeks. Why is it in months for Nokia/Microsoft? I'm not even annoyed about a rumored release date being replaced with another rumored one; instead, it's the fact that the thing was announced months ago...
