That's what I use (also moved on from my 950XL) and it really works well. Take your time with your search.... I am using a LG V20, and the camera is not as good as the XL. IMO, that is the only downgrade. I really love the MS Launcher!

No, I always connect in the car via Bluetooth. In fact, I don't even have an audio cable in the car; I'll try to take one out tomorrow. I'll also change my Spotify streaming to "best quality" and check to see if that makes a difference.
