Nokia Lumia 930 screen flickering / fluttering / jumping / blinking issue

The flickering issue is caused by the interference generated when your signal is less than 3G, ie: G or E. Test it for yourself. When you notice the flickering, check your signal rating. This is due to improper hardware shielding and the AMOLED screen used in production.

Nokia Lumia 930 Bugs and Defects

My 930 was replaced by Nokia after screen lifting issues. The replacement seems well glued down this time, however the battery life is horrible compared to my first one and it suffers from bad screen flickering

Lumia 930 Hardware Issues - insane vibrate, screen lift and deteriorating camera button

Mine said the same thing. Confusing! You can track the repair process on Nokia's website.

Nokia Lumia 930 Bugs and Defects

No burn-in. Yellow problem is fixed with colour profile (now whiter than my 1020) Same for the green/purple issue. Just make sure you update to the latest everything. I do get some strange flickering every now and then though now but its hard to notice and only for a second or two.

screen lift? how much is normal (pics in post 11)

Uh, yeah. A far cry from the "World-class customer service" they brag about on their website.

Live chat and escalations are a complete waste of time. If I were you, get it to the point where they at least arrange a repair. If it comes back unrepaired, then step it up a notch and email Stephen Elop. My case was then referred to Alf Noto who is the VP of Nokia Care. He then "personally"...

screen lift? how much is normal (pics in post 11)

Just to update everyone, got my replacement Lumia 930 from Nokia after one of the worst series of customer service I've ever experienced. The replacement handset isn't new, its refurbed and the back cover has a small knick in it but I'm giving up the fight. They also gave me a ?40 voucher which...

screen lift? how much is normal (pics in post 11)

Nokia UK are sending me a replacement 930 after a mountain of complaining, emails, tweets and phonecalls. It's really souring, because Apple send out advance replacements with no issue. Just standard practice for them. So this will certainly make me rethink buying another Nokia.

Rodrigo, how long have you had your 930? Could you possibly take a close up photo of the sides of your phone? It will help us show what the phone is supposed to look like.

Definitely a fault. Your screen isn't quite as bad as mine yet but its well on its way. I really hope this isn't widespread...

screen lift? how much is normal (pics in post 11)

Re: screen lift? how much is normal In the middle of dealing with Nokia at the moment regarding the screen-lift on my L930. It;s so bad that I can fit a fingernail between the glass and the body. I sent it back to Nokia Care, and they returned it dirty, scratched on the back and didn't replace...

New wireless chargers DC-50 and DT 601 are rubbish!

How completely unintuitive. The original one worked and functioned perfectly. I've never had to read a manual for something that should be pretty foolproof. I should be able to drop my phone on it and have 100% charge a few hours later, again, like the original. The new one is a massive step...

New wireless chargers DC-50 and DT 601 are rubbish!

The wireless charger supplied with the 930 is indeed a massive piece of crap. I don't know how it made it though some sort of design quality standard. There is no indication on the 930 where the charging coil is and you cant see the microscopic white LED on the charger itself if the Gods have...

How do you use your 930?

Ha! Was waiting for that comment. Business closes for 2 weeks so first day back is very slow, but was a very good stress test for my 930. Airslab: I just used it as is out of the box. No funny charge/discharge games. Although I set my phone up as new rather than restore. Battery after today is...
