My 640 xl still image properties detail showing horizontal and vertical resolution is 72 dpi.

I noticed some images taken with 640xl are 96dpi...

Is there any option that I can change 72 dpi to 96dpi?

or i am doing something wrong...?

Did you edit that picture (96DPI) using some app ?
Because some of the exif data are missing, and the name tag is different (pro-e1429018031455-min-min....) , which suggests you have edited the picture.

However the first picture (mickey mouse) has the proper name tag and proper exif data.

Only 1st picture (Mickey) is taken by me with lumia 640xl.

2nd image which describe detail of another picture, is the picture I downloaded from net as lumia 640xl smple image. Its not my own so i dont know it was edited or not.
unfortunately i missed the link from where i downloaded, still search for it.
But here is another example link of 96 dpi image:

Interesting comment about the DPI (dot per inch or sub-pixel per inch)
I have just compared a picture taken with my Nikon D90 (13MP) and my 640XL(13MP):

D90 Dimensions: 4288 x 2368
640XL Dimensions: 4208 x 2368
D90 DPI: 300
640XL DPI: 72

I have found an interesting webpage to explain the DPI:
https://www.nema.org/Communications/EI/Product-Showcase/Pages/What-is-a-High-Resolution-Image.aspx

More dpi mean better image quality. Thats why I try to find an option with which I can change 72dpi to 96 on 640xl.
Didnt find any...but there are many 640 xl sample image on internet which are 96dpi.

probably compression algorithm used in the camera app. Images with flat color range are probably saved at lower DPI, while images with a more dynamic range will be saved at 96. If we were able to use RAW or DNG we probably would see higher DPI. I can set to save DNG on my interop unlocked 640XL and compare the images.

edit: hmm, things have changed with recent builds I guess. the key worked for previous camera app but not for new one. Or it simply doesn't take the reg entry anymore.
