Troubles with sd card and storage

hi

got a 64 gig card in there I put in my settings to change the videos to sd in my storage settings
I tried to install apps to the sd card and keep on getting errors

has any had this happen to them??

And did you format the SD card in your phone before you started. Are all apps give errors or only some. (You know, I presume, that some apps can not be moved to the SD card.)

hi ..no I did not format my sd card prior.. do I do like a fat32?

when I put movies on my sd card they do not show up in the video app.. but when I move them to the phone storage they show up..
but I have my settings to put videos on the card..

why would they have a setting for to change your apps to go on the sd card if they cant run off the sd card..?

should I just start over and tap the format sd card in the setting??

What is the class of the SD card ?
Is it Fat32 ?
What the file's size"movie" you are trying to play ?
If its more than 2GB its gonna be hard to handle it using fat32

. Backup your SD card to your PC move your apps to phone then format it to "exFat" its better for 64GB cards I have it with no problems up to 6GB films

I must admit its a ebay debranded Samsung high capacity.. or who knows.

its only star wars rebels episodes which are 255 mb each.. I put Jupiter rising on it and it was almost 3 gigs and it played just fine..
I will format and try that
