George Ponder Editor Dec 28, 2001 543 0 0 Visit site Dec 12, 2012 #6 It has to do with the aspect ratio... the extra .7 allows for the 16:9 ratio on the 1/3" sensor to match the pixels of the 4:3 ratio. Sounds like a little wiggle room so things can be stretched if you will...
