Embed photo without iframe????

The embed photo options from Skydrive seem rather pitiful. All I want is a direct link to the image. The only thing skydrive seems to offer is an iframe. However, not all boards seems to support the iframe.

Is there any other way or workaround?

I used photobucket for my needs but it seems like there are always little things like this that make Skydrive not as useful as it could be.

Use imgur photo sharing. The app Grin gives you a link directly on upload (you have to add i. In front and .jpg in back of the address of that link)

I was having the same concerns some days ago.

Here's one tip I learnt, you can change the public link (not embed) from:
onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=11111&authkey=aaaaa

To:
onedrive.live.com/download?resid=11111&authkey=aaaaa

And now it will be a direct download you can link to in img tags.

I normally don't like bumping old threads - but I just wanna say thanks mcm_ham!

I've been googling (and bing'in) for like an hour trying to figure out how to embed onedrive pictures in forums and your suggestion did the trick! So thanks - and hopefully bumping this helps others.
