I have the same issue. It's not that the screen is gone, it's that nothing is pinned. I an unable to pin some things though... like phone and most of the stuff I had pinned before. It's it possible to get 8.1 back if I didn't back up? I was expecting only Denim :(

I'm guessing it does not distort the display/color any, but is it smooth like the screen?

It does it automatically, but if you are curious about a certain app, you can check it. Just view the app in the marketplace on the phone, and then hit back, and then click on the app again. If there is an update, "Update" will appear at the bottom. Fhotoroom Jack of Tools Pro Rizing

The only thing I can think of doing would be to restart the phone and computer, and maybe check if you have the latest version of Zune installed and/or reinstall Zune.

If all else fails, Reinstaller app works if you cannot find a certain app/update such as camera modes or attentive phone.

There have been several sound enhancement updates since then (heck, I got one yesterday). Perhaps the issue has been fixed. I haven't tried since I usually turn off sounds and music =x

Just learned how to use the "backspace" function of the Calculator. I am growing increasingly impressed with the app. If I could only buy one app, this would be that one.
