2) Use a third party music app like vlc (beta) ,loco music player or audiotica (best music app ever imo) xbox music sucks in 8.1, looks nice in windows 10 though. I found that I could add a playlist in Loco and come back to last point played even after closing app. Works for podcast but erases...

I was using swiftkey, google keyboard, and LG keyboard on Android and I like the features on MS keyboard are better overall, just my 2 cents. Long press for number would be my only addition.

Thanks! For the keyboard, in WP7 you could hold the screen to pull up a moveable cursor to edit text. Didn't seem to exist anymore. Sent from my M8.

I snagged an m8 wp from eBay for $200 yesterday. Has a scuff on the corner but otherwise excellent, then picked up a otterbox commuter case on eBay for $3.75 shipped! At&t variant and only 5 months old, I'm pretty happy!

I would added $$ to a 3rd party app. Just want remote function, don't care about guide functions. Thanks!

Really impressive, thanks for that walkthrough. Did you clean off the inside lip that the glass sits on before replacing it? I've found that dust makes it's way into that gap and pushes the screen away creating what looks like bubbles under the glass.

Yeah mutt its a great phone, I moved on to the 1020 but miss my 920 all the time! Focus S still holds the sentimental favorite though;)
