In my experience, the actual toast notification (the banner that pops up) only shows on the phone, not the external screen. But you can manually click the action center button on the external screen, and see the same notifications as on the phone.

I agree that it looks promising, but it could also just be a bug related to the non-functional visual voicemail in this build. I really hope that it's something they're actively working on though, because it's proven to be a bit of an inconvenience to not have VVM.

I thought it was pretty obvious based on the last firmware update how this works by now. They release it in a few countries first, and then wait and see the results of testing there before releasing worldwide. It's annoying in this case for those of us with major issues with the 950XL...

I originally had ordered both a 'regular' back cover and a notebook back cover. They were still holding my order up because the notebook cover got delayed, so I cancelled that part of the order and they shipped out the other one a day or two later. Might be worth emailing them.

It actually was a little worse than that last year. They claimed they weren't going to release an app at all, so the first month and a half of the season we went without before they caved.

The one thing to keep in mind (if it matters to you) is that most (all of the ones I've tried) third-party chargers don't power the Display Dock. But other than that, for best results, all you really need is a native USB-C 3A/5W charger as stated.
