My One M8 Windows phone on 8.1 gets huge tiles every once in awhile. They are so big that the whole screen has room for only a couple. Then you can't use the phone until its rebooted. Anyone else experience this?

Every holiday the Dot View has a special theme but not today. It has in past years and had one for fathers day recently.

You can press on the individual item and a remove option pops up.

I've had the One M8 Windows phone since it came out. It's been great in every way. I usually want the latest phone but I don't see anything that I like better. What I can't figure out is why on Android the One is a highly rated and desirable flagship but on Windows not so much.

I was checking apps that run in the background and there it is..Dot View. It still doesn't do anything or work but it's in there. I toggled it off in the background. I guess in a future update it will show up in settings like it was in 8.1.

Re: BUILD 10166 : BUGS Thread I'd like to get an answer on this as well. It just started and I updated on day one without any problems. Now a number on outlook email shows up as well (on the tile) when there are no emails in there. So both emails and phone tiles are doing this.

I do have the extras setting and the only two items are backup and hearing aid. Should there be more or not.

I would like to hear from those who have upgraded to 10166 to learn if they see the Dot View settings in settings even if they don't use it or care about that feature. Thanks.

Maybe so. It's definitely not anywhere in the settings. I hate to hard reset again because everything else is great. I appreciate your response.

I understand but it's not there. I'm on 10149 if that matters.

Anybody know about the Dot View not showing up? I don't see a setting for it anywhere but when my apps were installing with WP10 it was amongst them. Of course in 8.1 that app was in settings rather than with other apps. I would like to have Dot View working but I'm not downgrading to get it...
