All Samsung WP7.5 devcices getting 7.8

So Samsung has confirmed it will update all it's existing devices running WP7.5 to 7.8.

So why am I reading about this news elsewhere? This is supposed to be a WP website, but it seems to get WP news later than general tech websites on a regular basis. It still doesn't even have an Ativ S review, yet other sites do. Seriously?

I think pocketnow lost something in translation because they say the Omnia W is not getting it. MS and the OEMs are splitting hairs and saying phones that SHIPPED with 7.5 are getting 7.8, which we all know is a pile of BS since first gen phones run 7.8 just fine.

I think a lot of people are getting Upgraded to WP7.5 and released with WP7.5 confused. Why it makes a difference IDK, but I'm getting the feeling that it does.
