Default programs has limited options

When I try to change the default program for a file type, I only get a few options, I have lost the "other programs" button so I can choose something not listed. In one case I only get the current program and "find one in the Store"!

Open "Default Apps" and "Reset all default apps". And now restart your pc. This is a simple trick but mostly works.

Try system file checker also.
Open "PowerShell" as admin and write "sfc /scannow" hit enter and on completion restart your computer.

Hoping your problem will be solved.
