I like the idea that Apple just won the lawsuit that it can continue to protect its customers by not handing over their encryption tools and/or algorithms to the government to do whatever they want with it. Does MS support such a policy and is WP10 just as "secure" meaning it cannot be decrypted by most anybody?
Before you go off on me...
1.) I do support the right of law enforcement getting a search warrant to get the information
2.) I do believe that once the search warrant is issued, said companies can and should provide to the best of their ability to assist <<without handing over their proprietary property>>
3.) Search warrants should only include said equipment as impacted by the case being investigated
4.) Companies have the right to protect their customers
5.) Here's the key >> People are ultimately responsible for what's on their equipment.
If you don't want to get caught and go to jail then don't do anything illegal!!
