brightness control not working

the brightness control isn't working , the same what we experienced while updating from win 8 to win 8.1 ?are u rolling out any update that could fix this problem ???

Install latest GPU drivers for your system, reinstall DirectX, reinstall Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013, both x86 and x64

Also, uncheck and recheck .NET framework 2.0-3.5.

It should work after this.
