Surface Duo 2 - are the two pieces for the right screen the same on the bumper and the pen cover?

Specifically, are the two pieces that stick on the right side of the Duo 2 in the Bumper and the Pen cover the same for both products?
Are they the same material, fit, size, protection quality?
For example, I am thinking of leaving my pen cover on the left screen, and then to add some colour apply blue/orange bumper pieces to the right side of the device. However, I won't if the bumper isn't up to the same quality.

They are both Microsoft products. I'm wondering if the two smaller pieces in the pen cover kit are the same as the two smaller pieces in the bumper?
