Hey guys,

I upgraded to Win 10 today and had enabled the Long Path in Group Policy to see if its really true that Windows 10 can go beyond the 260 char limit.

But When I tried copying a folder from my computer to my Sea Gate external drive, it wouldnt copy still and had the same problem of being too long.

Heres a picture

Strange indeed, I just tried it on Windows 10 Pro x64 1703 build with mixed results.
I can create a very long patch (360 characters) using Total Commander, without enabling Long Path.
I can copy files there, using Total Commander.
I can even open MP3 file, using Daum Pot Player, again, without enabling Long Path.
But I cannot open 2 ZIP files. I cannot even right click the ZIP files.
Error says "Your internet security settings prevented...."
Enable Long Path using registry, restart computer, exact same problems.
Enable Long Path using Group Policy, restart computer, exact same problems.
Now, create long path using Explorer directly, 249 characters, the still gives error when I try to create another subfolder.
I can copy and open a zip file, total path length (folders+filename+extension) = 268
I cannot rename the file.
But I can copy another file, even longer name: path length (folders+filename+extension) = 288
So, I really don't know how this works :(
