Watch out: "sync your settings" automatically activated

Without my knowledge or specific action of any sort the "sync my settings" feature was activated for my user account. This must have happened either when I switched from a local account to a Microsoft account or when I updated from 10074 to 10130. Either way, it was automatically activated. This wouldn't be half as bad if password synchronization wasn't enabled by default as well.

So watch out, if you don't want your passwords to be automatically saved on Microsoft's servers you need to disable this manually under PC settings - accounts - sync your settings.

If it wasn't enabled by default no-one would probably ENABLE the feature...

After a restore and account login:
"But I was told it had x or y and saved A and B?"
"Yeah, no, you have to enable that"

Rather it on than off.

I respectfully disagree. Storing sensitive information such as passwords on foreign servers should NEVER happen automatically.
