I think that very few people enjoy extreme weather.

To Mr. Clue's point, lots of people liken floss in Florida and go for winter gear when the weather gets under 80 degrees. I've seen in person and it is too funny.

I get cold easily so I wouldn't do winter gear like her but I would have a cardigan that is 3/4 sleeve.

A great day for a hike in the cool mountains..
It's wonderful to be able to find unspoilt beauty just an hour from the city..
A group of people in this small village got together and map out a route linking seven waterfalls. I only had time to visit this beauty, Murug Turug.

Wow...thank you for sharing the beauty. It sounds like you enjoyed your hike though.

I wish I were doing this than grim reaper duty on a Friday afternoon. Someone's gotta do it, but I don't like it.

I'm indifferent to the whole thing now. I have friends who are more affected but at this moment in time I could care less.

I'm at that numb stage.

I watched a bit of news and they were showing the celebrations... Sigh

Wherever.

Let's see what happens in July and then 2021. There's a lot of people who really are clueless about this whole thing. You simply wouldn't believe the stories and it would make some 45 supporters look smart...

Unfortunately nationalism is a great tool to use. Especially with disgruntled people who feel they have nothing but their national identity. However made up that is.

Unfortunately Europe and the EU is too nice.

The news here has been very flat about the whole thing. Most EU citizens have no real opinion about it but will tell they feel sad.

Hopefully they saw the celebrations in TV but I doubt it.

I saw the celebrations and this was the only thing that popped into mind:

So there was a huge F$@! the police demonstrations yesterday. These "protesters" in some stations put gorilla glue on the terminals where you swipe the cards to get on, graffiti on the walls

https://www.nydailynews.com/new-yor...-nxr7cr6kcrcfraxwleufjof62u-photogallery.html

My pictures aren't as sexy, but these were some minor pushing matches with police. Zoom into the second one to see the signs. (On a side note, LG is crushing it in video, especially audio. The mics on the V40 picked up EVERYTHING when I did a test clip there - very immersive).

I was going to take some of a small group on one of subway platforms but s train came and they all piled on.

The frustration is not having access to what is needed to help.
When did they start calling money "access"? I always preach to follow local government more closely than the s**tshow in DC because that's where lives get affected. My daughter turns 22 this year which means she'll get the boot from the public school system. It also means that it's the end of any government subsidized programs for her since there are no adult programs in place in The Sunshine State. The homeless issue is moving beyond your typical black or white guy holding up the "will work for food" sign. You're starting to see a LOT of women, some with young adult kids in tow, and that's jolting.
