Where's all the new hardware?

Seems WC has been very light on new hardware announcements lately. Is it just the time of year?

Specifically, I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive tablet among the lines of the hp stream or Asus vivotab. Those have both been out for some time, though, so would prefer something with newer specs.

2gb ram minimum, 8-10 in screen, latest atom processor... Anything like that coming out?

I know, the surface 3 just came out, but that may be more than I require. Vivotab is $149, stream is $79. There must be something coming along those lines, yeah?

Anyone know?

I don't think PC hardware turns over quite as fast as phones and phone-based tablets.

Probably waiting for 10 if anything.
