Error 0x8024200d while installing windows 10 TP- Build 10041.

Previously I created a VHD, downloaded 9926build ISO and installed on it. Now I'm trying to install/update build 10041 but gets this error 0x8024200d every time.

So VHD is the cause of this error?? Or something else?

Try disconnecting all external drives, it seems to have fixed it for me (so far at least, it wouldn't download before but it does now)

I set my update speed in advanced settings back to slow, exited, reopened and turned it back to fast. Then updated and it was fine. Make sure you're connected to the internet too.

I have the same issue; trying to install 10041 leads to reverting to the previous build. I get the following error message:
"Couldn't update to Windows 10 Technical Preview Sorry, we couldn't complete the update to Windows 10 Technical Preview. We've restored your previous version of Windows to this PC. 0x8007001F - 0x30017"
I've tried toggling between Fast/Slow and clearing the Windows Update cache. My next step will be removing my SD card and seeing if that makes any difference.

I keep getting stuck at 21% with 70% setting up so when I turn off power (as nothing else works) and turn power back on I revert back to build 9926! I have no external hard drives attached or really anything else so any Ideas ? Had no problem with previous builds .
