This morning I attempted to install the new build of win10 on my desktop (i7 2600, 16GB ram) and it froze at 3% for over an hour, so I did a hard reset. Win10 reverted back to the 9926 build just fine, but now will not give any options to upgrade to the new build again. I have tried going to the slow ring, resetting the machine, and then moving back to the fast ring, but it still thinks that it is up to date.

Any ideas on how to trick it into attempting the 10046 build again?

First of all, My bad: I meant to type in build 10041 not 10046.

Second off I decided to attempt a full reinstall of the OS (because it was having other issues anyways), and when it finished loading up from the install I was surprised to be welcomed with the new ugly trash bin, and it looks like it upgraded me to Build 10041 automatically (Yay!). Not sure if a normal 'refresh' would do the trick for anyone else having issues, but doing the complete reinstall option baked into win10 helped push the update through just fine.
