Synchronization between Outlook and Windows 10 phone

I am really looking forward to having Windows 10 on both my PC and mobile phone.

Will synchronization of Outlook contacts and calendar events be built into Windows 10 or will we still have to rely on 3rd party apps?

Depends on what mail service you use.
If you use Outlook.com or O365 it all just syncs now anyway - No need for 3rd party apps.
