i want to install Windows 10 from USB without deleting files from my pc

I had a horrible time downloading the free upgrade from Microsoft for Windows 10 .
I just wanted to know that my friend brings a Windows 10 bootable USB and I want to install Windows 10 on my laptop without erasing any files, could I do that????

You can save files to the One drive, that way you won't loose them, once you reconnect to the
one drive, the files will be there.

I second Sheldon's advice. If you have everything on your OneDrive, it can sync locally PLUS you have a backup should anything ever happen. I have everything on OneDrive these days - it's brilliant!
