Why am I unable to unlock my phone from the lock screen?

Unable to unlock my phone from lock screen!

Im using windows 10 tp on my lumia 920 and im unable to unlock it from lockscreen using my pin. After i enter my key it just stays like that, even if i enter a wrong key it deoes not show that the key enterd is wrong. PLEASE HELP ME!

Does it react to touch input at all? (Meaning: can you see that a button has been pressed?)
Try turning your phone off and on again (long-press power button) and see if that solves your problem.

This happened a few times with me as well. The general fix was to just switch it off and back on, or a soft reset (volume down + power key for 10 seconds until you feel a vibration; then leave).

yes it reacts to touch input.

I guess your last resort is a hard reset. If not that, the recovery tool. There's not to much you can do from a locked screen.

Did you set up OneDrive to automatically upload your pictures?

yes i did but the most recent photos are not backed up

So the phone unlocked once so I backed up everything... It started it again so I used the windows recovery tool to go back to 8.1
