Can't update to 10586

I have still not seen the update in Windows Update and trying to upgrade with the Media Creation Tool fails every time. An ISO burned to disk also fails. It gets to the part where it says "Your computer will restart in a few moments" and then crashes to the desktop with a window that says "Something happened" in the header and "Windows 10 installation has failed" in the box. It never gets to the screen with the big circle showing progress. I have tried disabling and uninstalling my AV (Panda Free), disconnecting everything but the mouse , keyboard, monitor, and primary Hard drive, uninstalling Classic Shell, and nothing helps.
