Window 10 trouble with updates

For the last few days I try to update and I this is what is having trouble.
? Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2 x64 Edition - March 2016 (KB890830) - Error 0x80070643

I downloaded and installed the removal tool but it made no difference. How can I correct this problem?

running Windows 10 Pro version

Do you by any chance have Norton anti-virus program installed? If so, set it to pause for now and try the update again
