It wld be but its not really an official date so delays are possible and even if its announced on 14th it might take a day or two for it to roll out everywhere.

That depends on region, it'll be released in the US first (and yes, it will be on EVERY Windows Phone 8 device, including the 620).

I am using wp 8.1 on 620. Cortana work if region is set to US. And i love it more then amber update.

Anyone having terrible battery life with the WP 8.1 install? I upgraded my wife's phone, and it now uses 10% battery per hour. It can be charged at 75% when she goes to bed and be dead by morning. No use, obviously. I'm looking at how to reinstall 8.0 because this is crazy. I've disabled everything I know how.

I had problems at first but solved after hard reset. And yes 8.1 way better then previous. thank you for swipe keyboard genius!!!!!!!! (just wrote with that)
