i will ask about Nokia Lumia Phone Storage

when i browse the phone storage through my phone these are what appeared.

1. music+videos
2. Pictures
3. Apps
4. other
5.System
6. Free space

im just wondering that my OTHER FILES is getting larger and larger each day. im always downloading apps and games and the apps storage is getting larger at the same time the other storage. but when i try to uninstall an apps/games, the application storage decreases while the OTHER storage still the same. i just want to ask what is that other storage and i cannot browse what files are in there. im afraid that my phone memory will be full if this will continue. any suggestion or opinion about my problem?

and one more thing, my menu became alphabetical jump list. how can i disable it or remove it because it is annoying and my menu is getting longer and longer.

There is no way to erase the "Other" category manually as far as I know. It is a complaint that a lot of people have had. Nokia helped with the temporary files being deletable but that is just a start.

Also, the letters appear once you reach a certain amount of apps. I don't believe that can be disabled (though I personally like it).
