no it doesn't.. most apps do not have that feature. TileArt is one of the first.

Just a note, you can also resize your #TileArt static images to the small blocks if you want to use this cool feature but don't want to give up as much real estate on your screen.

Any app can make you brush away the background from a picture so it can be perfectly cropped? I know I can do it with PhotoShop, but it would be nice to do it directly from phone.

those "static images" give you a cool start screen... don't you think its worth allotting space for?

Guess is down to individuals. I will rather use the precious screen spaces for useful tiles than static images.

Just set it to use your accent colour.

Also most apps do have that feature, it has become essentially a standard feature... It would be silly of the devs not to implement it.

I tried it..i understood it...half an hour later uninstalled it...it doesnt make any sense coz its just blank live tiles wasting space on the screen where it will be more useful to add apps rather than just live tiles with pictures...i agree...it does look pretty nice...but it has no purpose and often u get confuse hitting on it and launches the tileart app..

after getting addicted and constantly messing with the screen layout i ended up with this lot, all made with the Tile art app and a few blank spacers created with header tiles, i am a gorillaz fan but not a nut case die hard fan, i just like there art work which seems to work well on a phone with amount of images available from a search and quality, if i could be bothered i could make it better with photoshop but i wanted to stay within the capabilities of the app alone
