Hello, I have a bunch of TXT files from my previous phone which I used to sync with a pc, google drive and such. Now on WP8 there is no native way to even display these files from SD. Is there an app to load/save/view/edit TXT files? If there is a PDF reader, why not TXT...
So far I was unable to find one. Thanks

I created a text document on my PC and put it on SkyDrive. On my phone I found it in my documents and clicked it. It opened in Word just fine, and I was able to edit and save it.

So as far as an app, you already have one.

That's right I found out too. But strangely this works only on skydrive thus you have to be connected to edit your files. There is no way to save the file into phone or on SD... or am I wrong?

    I think so :) I tried this:
    (1) on PC, create a text file, connect phone, open explorer to Phone > Documents, drop file there.
    (2) on phone, go to office > places > phone (documents on your phone). There it was, and I could open it in Word by clicking, and delete it via long-press.
