Just switched my iPhone 4 for a new Nokia 928 and am loving it. I am however, missing one of my favorite iPhone apps, Errands which was a very nice To-Do app and had the following features that I really want to have:
    1. Easy Entry of tasks
    2. To-Do Notification
    3. Reminder if task is not done. Errands call this nagging and allowed you to set it every minute, every hour or every day. Loved this feature.
    4. Ability to repeat tasks either daily, weekly or monthly.

I've looked at several WP apps but they all seem to be lacking. Does anybody know of one that I might have overlooked. I like the live tile integration, but sometimes a nice little alarm and a kick in the pants is just what you need.

Is that "Reminder Tiles" or just "Reminder" (2 different apps)?

What is wrong with OneNote? It ships with the OS and I think it's quite good! SkyDrive integration, sharing support, W8RT, W8 and pure web based versions are available, etc, etc, etc...

Paul Thurott published a draft chapter of an upcoming book you can download free of charge. The chapter includes an introduction to OneNote.

Started using TinyDo a few days ago, and I really like it so far. I like the fact that it is not very clattered with information that I don't need, I like the way it works with gestures, and it has a great double wide tile:

I'd take a look at Effectual and Clearer in addition to what's already been mentioned.

I appreciate all the suggestions but , from what I can tell, none of them have the reminder alarm options (with the different time periods) that I so desire :-(

You could use Swipr. It is swipe-based and is incredibly easy to use. First version just released recently. I am sure there's more to come. Swipr | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

I've been using Taskete for a while now. Best thing is the ability to set complex recurrencies for tasks, example "last Friday every month". And the "delay" task button is really cool. Havent seen anything like it...

Welcome to the forums! Taskete is something I am going to try. Best thing is that it is free!

I guess I am late to put in my 2 cents here, but I have tried the following apps for getting myself organized and each one of them has its own pros and cons. Totally depends where you would want to draw the line, though.:-
    1. Evernote - the latest version comes with reminders, and it syncs with your email account as well
    2. Top Task List - Offers Skydrive Integration, email integration, reminders, priorities, accountability (as in who is responsible for that task, links it with the phone contact list), tasks within a task (this i think is a really cool feature)
    3. Effectual - haven't used it as I am on wp7.8, but I have seen my friends on WP 8 use it, neat and clear interface, syncs with Skydrive, has reminders, priorities
    4. Tiny Do - neat and clean interface, reminders, sync options

Let us in the community know what worked for you :)
