    Is anyone out there working on a grocery store app. While we have a lot of apps from other industries, trying to get any of my local stores to support the windows phone is like pulling teeth. Aldi, Walmart, Safeway, HEB, Publix, SaveOn, CostCo, Sams and more seem to have their apps... just not on our platform.

    Edit{ I know there are 3rd party apps, but those seem to have 1 star }

    Ok, no responses... so plan B.

    Let me ask this... I'm not a programmer but is it fair to say something like; "Hey (Grocery Store Company) did you know that if you develop for the Windows Phone platform, your developer can easily port it to the Windows Desktop and RT community. That's a mighty big audience your currently not supporting" Is that a fair statement?

    I wrote an unoffocial one for Aldi that had the exact same features as their iOS and Android apps - ie showed all their special deals that they had coming up. I got told to take it down by them. Shame really as they're doing nothing for the platform themselves!
