What's the performance of your chosen messaging app?

Like the title says, I'm curious about the performance of whatever messaging app you use. I use Skype, and as everyone knows, its performance is terrible. It takes a looooong time to resume. This is a problem particularly for messaging apps because, for the most part, people don't stay in a messaging app while chatting. Personally, I am jumping from various other tasks (on the phone or otherwise) while also chatting. So every time I want to send a message, I spend just as much time resuming the app as I do writing/reading a message. Ideally, Skype should perform just as fast as the text messaging app.

How well does your app perform?

I use whatsapp and fb messenger only. WA is a lot better now, no complaints at all... Fb messenger on the other hand could be a little faster and also have landscape mode for the keyboard, it's useful for smaller screens... I own a L520 on DP btw

I think WeChat just got an update so it seems a lot faster now.

FB Messenger leaves a lot to be desired tho. It lags when I switch between conversations and its pretty annoying. I have a 1520.
