2019 and Windows File Explorer still doesn't tell me how large a folder is

Can we please have a windows file explorer that tells me how large a folder is without me having to actually open said folder to view "x files, x megabytes" in size?

Also, why can't we have a file explorer that shows and allows changes to a file's comments. Like the tool FileMeta(x64).msi (https://github.com/Dijji/FileMeta/releases) does? Shouldn't this be built-in to Windows?

Thanks,

Andy

Try a program called treesize. It's not exactly what you want, but maybe it can restore some of your sanity

Or try the option shown below
