Push notifications

Hello. I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a Nokia Lumia 635, which to this point has been spot on but a couple of hours my toast (and sometimes my push) notifications are have stopped working. I have tried soft reset, hard reset and plain simply shouting angry words at it but to no prevail. Have any of you guys had this problem. I'm also on O2UK. With no data left in my allowance but I am hooked up to WiFi.

Some don't work without normal (ie non-wifi data), such as Whatsapp or maybe Viber.

I would get your data bundle topped back up (if possible) and see if it still occurs. Also, if battery saver is active then notifications from most apps pretty much stop dead until it's turned off either manually, or by plugging in a charger.

I find it so difficult without toast/push notifications. Do you know if this happens on other os'?

I've only experienced Android but that was many moons ago so can't really remember.

My last android was wildfire s. Maybe its something to do with data sense. Doesn't seem to like payg.

I'm on Virgin PAYG and running data sense at the mo and it seems to be behaving alright - I have got credit though.
