I'm moving from iPhone to Windows Phone and I am accustomed to using the Siri features for dictation (speech to text) in all applications including Microsoft's OneNote.
In testing Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview with Cortana, I can use the microphone for dictation in Text and Mail but in no other applications. For example, it does not work in OneNote, Calendar, or Skype messaging.
Are there settings that I missed in Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview to enable this feature across the applications or is it simply not available?
