Which Lumia should I get?

I recently lost my Lumia 925 while on holiday, and I'm looking to buy a new phone. That phone served me really well and performed well with WP 8.1. I'm looking for a phone that'll last me another 2 years with no lag after SW updates and new features. Should I go for the 930, or the 735?

I say 735 instead of the 830, simply because I prefer OLED over LCD, the 720p resolution at the lower size makes for a higher pixel density, and the specs are mainly the same. Screen is of more importance to me than camera anyway (and the 720 had a decent shooter) hence I think I'd prefer the 735 over the 830.

My question is, should I pay the extra cash for the 930 or will the 735 suit my needs? I don't multitask with many 'heavy' apps open, just FB, IE, Twitter, a game etc.

I want my experience to always be lag free and I want my phone to be able to make use of all the new software features coming in the next 2 years. I've never bought a non-flagship Lumia before so I need some help deciding.

you should get the lumia 735.
people are experiencing a lot of issues in Lumia 930 like constantly heating uo and several others. This might be fixed through a software update. If u can wait till then go for a Lumia 930 otherwise choose the Lumia 735

In terms of hardware, the 930 is superior to the 735. The 930 has a Snapdragon 800, a quad core processor running at 2.2ghz with 2gb of RAM. The 735 has a Snapdragon 400, also a quad but only at 1.2 ghz, and only 1gb of RAM. Though the 930 is released before the 735, its hardware is more likely to support more high-end features with the upcoming updates (notice that the Cyan update has more features enabled for the 930 and 1520 among the other Lumia phones). The 930 also has a slightly larger screen, and 20MP main camera, while the 735 only has 6.7MP.

If you take a lot of selfies though, the Lumia 735 is better in that case since it has a 5MP front camera. Though it only has 8gb of internal memory compared to the 930's 32gb memory, the 735 has a micro sd slot for more storage. Battery doesn't differ that much.

Personally, I think you should go with the 930 because of its hardware superiority over the 735. In the long run, better hardware would be able to support new and upcoming features. If the front cam isn't much of an issue to you, but you are concerned that 32gb is not enough, then go with a 1520 instead. It's got the same specs as the 930 but with an IPS LCD screen instead, a micro sd slot and a bigger screen with bigger battery.
