    Hello guys. I live in Mauritius and i would like to get cortana on my 8.1 windows phone. i owned a Nokia Lumia 925. If i change my region to us, i will surely get cortana... but how about my sim card. Will it affect it?

    Please Help me....

    No it's all fine, just change your Keyboard, Region and Language to US hit the reboot button after changing each one,
    then remove your own Keyboard, Region and Language options, and reboot once more.

    Then check for updates and you should have Cortana.

    It will not affect your Sim card or Storage card.

    The only problems you may encounter will be not being able to buy apps from the store, and some apps you have installed may turn to trial versions or not work under a different currency.
