Why am I unable to sign into the Games Hub?

Unable to sign in in Games Hub

Hello I live in Sweden and have a 1520, which I have set to english language and US location but swedish time zone, and I can't sign in to the Games Hub and make my avatar show up nor read my xbox messages and stuff.

So a couple of questions, will I still get achievements to my xbox gamerprofile?
Is this caused by my location settings?
Is this fixable?
