Unable to set up nokia account

Trying this since last three months to log in to my Nokia mail. Setting< email+account< Nokia account .
When I log in his web page it logged on successfully.
When I try set up with Setting< email+account< Nokia account .
Ot says problem at the other end.
Will anyone tell me who the hell is sitting at that other end.
Note: Already did hard set & soft set.
Tried with all: 2G 3G 4G Wi-Fi.

I am having the same problem too..I think this problem started after the Lumia Cyan update. I bought a Lumia 930 yesterday and I am not able to activate my Nokia account on my phone. I am not able to do it on my old Lumia 920 either.. Anyone can help in this regard? Much appreciated..

May I ask a stupid question. What is the Nokia account for? I signed into it using my Microsoft account but not sure what it actually does.

Nokia account gives you access to free music downloads in MixRadio and you can save and access favourite locations in Here Maps...

But why we are not able to sign in into Nokia mail inside the phone setting where as we are able to login via web???
What is the problem with phone? Unfortunately cyan!
Or its MS strategy to keep us away form anything of Nokia as per rebranding??
