How to upgrade DV8P to Win8.1 pro?

Hi all, I am interested in purchasing a Dell Venue 8 Pro. I need Win 8.1 Pro. (I run a Windows 2008 Domain at home).
The price difference between a Venue 8 Pro 8.1 vs 8.1 Pro is quite a bit.
I had a TechNet account (before MS got rid of them :-( ) From that account, I have a few unused 8.1 Pro license keys. Is it possible to "upgrade" a DV8P from 8.1 to 8.1 Pro?

You could try following the instructions here: Add features - Microsoft Windows and using the product key for 8.1 Pro. Keep in mind though, it is possible it could render the copy of Office 2013 shipped with the device unusable if it is tied to the OEM product key. Just a possibility but one worth checking if that matters.
