Laptop app store different to phone app store

Why is the app store on the laptop different from the app store on the phone? A few weeks ago rayman jungle run was slashed by 60% on the laptop app store yet wasn't on the phone app store. Also there seems to be a lot less games on the laptop app store and games like angry birds that you buy for phone cant be downloaded again for laptop without buying again (I know halo and GTA is universal so you buy once and can download again on another platform without paying) why are the rest not like this.

The Windows Phone Store and the Windows OS Store are different things. This is going to be corrected with Windows 10 coming out next year sometime. The apps will be come cross platform for Metro Style apps only.

Apparently this will fix all the other issues you have as well.

I'm not sure what the question is. This is correct. Phone apps and Windows PC apps are not the same at this time. There are a few "universal" applications. This is not much different than any other system. Windows is trying to be the first for complete Universal modern style "apps" for your account across mobile and PC, but this won't be for another year or so. But on the plus side, all of the xbox live games save your saved game states to xbox live profile so your game states are saved across all platforms.
