System file over 4gb in windowsphone8.1.

I'm using nokia Lumia 520 with 8.1 normal version.. my system file is increasing in every few days now it's 4.2 gb.. even if i reset my phone after few days it is again above 3gb and keep on increasing.. all my apps are in sd card.. nothing in phone memory then why this problem help me.

Clear your browser cache (DELETE HISTORY) - both IE & Cortana.

Use STORAGE SENSE to clear TEMPORARY FILES, etc.

Same problem here.... There are very few apps installed... After hard reset it again rises to 3.4 gb... Tried clearing temporary files, history... Anyone got solution

Possibly, because your System files consume that much space
... on my Lumia 1520, SYSTEM = 3.37GB - Lumia Cyan w latest Dev Preview (Windows Phone 8.1 Update) update. SMH :eck: :shocked:

But whem i reset the phone it goes to 1.9gb and in 1-2month it increases to 4.2gb and increasing every single day..

When you go to"storage sense<phone"
You find , like "system: 3.17gb"
But this 3..17gb has no relation to your inbuilt 8gb (7.xxGb) memory
These two are separate.
.
Just exclude "system" n
Count/add all memory like
Apps game, music, video, postcards,photos, email+messages,map, temporary files,other++++ space left.
You'll see that its equal to 8gb.
So
"System:3.17gb " has no relation to your phone inbuilt memory.

Can u elaborated vineet.. When i connect my phone to pc it show i onlg have about 2gb left in my phone memory there is nothing in my phone memory all space is occupied my system file.

I too have the same problem what you can try to do is go to storage check instead of storage sense and then clear the temporary files.

Go to this page and look under hardware... 3gb is used by the os upfront...
