Why am I getting an error message when trying to connect to Roku Screen Mirroring?

Roku Screen Mirroring connection problem

I'm trying to use Screen Mirroring with Roku Streaming Stick, from a Surface Pro 3. I've installed and can "see" the Roku device, but can't connect to it - each time I get a "can't connect" message Devices/Project/Roku Streaming Stick). I also have the same issue when trying from other Windows/Android devices. Any ideas on how to fix?

Check for updates on the Roku device. If none and there is still a problem, it is either a problem with the beta or the Roku hardware. Since it happens with all devices the issue is not with the SP3...
