Is facebook integration with messaging hub possible in windows phone 10?

Skype being integrated with messaging hub in windows phone 10, will it be possible to integrate facebook? Or with any further updates after the release. I hate the current messenger app by facebook. And why was facebook integration removed actually? Did facebook force it or was it a choice of Microsoft?

The integration of some apps had to be removed so that they could be updated separately instead of having to push an update for the entire OS just to update the integrated apps as well. This also allowed MS to update those apps more frequently. I doubt we will see Messenger integration, because that app is from FB itself (AFAIK) and they would like to keep the standalone app
