Why am I unable to open my documents from my SD card?

[Windows Central Question]

I am not abble to open my documents from my SD card.

If I put my SD card to my phone and click on phone storage and click on SD card.
Folders music, photos, and games are ok.
But there is folder "others". I have on SD card many documents (5GB) (word.doc , .docx. pdf .ppt .pptx...)
So If I look in Office there is no text file.( in phone neither in SD card).
How I can open this files?
In Androit I had app Polaris Office and office suit.
Is there something similar?

Windows Phone has the Microsoft Office ! What else do you need ??

Are you on the latest update ?

Put the "others" you have on the documents folder and try again.

Uhh! Like he said, there is Microsoft Office for Windows Phone.

I think he is using setting app that's why he called the 'others' folder I think he should use files app from Microsoft

I know, that there is a Office

this is my phone storage in others should be my documents

In Android there is a special folder "my files" and there you can look at all of your files in phone and also in memory card.
In Windows phone there is just phone storage and folder others and you are not abble to look inside. I meant that polaris office or other will be able to open this files from "other"

you have to put all your documents txt files ppt xls etc in the documents folder.
also there is file manager app for windows.
