    hi friends,
i have a nokia lumia 822. Overall i'm satisfied with the phone but unfortunately some image is burned into the screen.
I know it can only be fixed by replacing the screen, but im out of warranty..

the image burned on the display is "Provisioning, please wait while your device........blah blah" it is pretty annoying when I show it to my friends.

i will be happy if i can lower the screen burn(by controlled burning of other areas) by showing inverted image.
i would be very thankful if someone is able to provide me that screenshot as im unable to get to that screen.

    Thank you for reading this.

You can replace the screen out of warranty you know.
You can DIY or enlist a technically inclined friend or phone shop to do the repair. (its more practical now that its out of warranty so there's no warranty to lose now!)

I don't have an AMOLED phone myself, but I've seen this app being tossed around before as a potential solution.
I don't know about inverting the image, but I think there are also other apps, not just this.
